Feeding
Lone Star® Hi Pro Plus® is formulated to meet the nutritional needs of normally active adult dogs. Food requirements will vary depending on your dog’s age, activity, and condition. Monitor your dog’s weight. If you notice an overweight or underweight condition, vary the amount of Hi Pro Plus accordingly. Your dog will still be getting all the nutrition he or she needs.
*Serving size based on a standard 8-ounce measuring cup.
Care and Water: Be sure to provide adequate fresh water in a clean bowl for your dog every day. Changes in your pet’s feeding habits should be made gradually. When changing over to Lone Star® Hi Pro Plus®, first substitute small amounts of Hi Pro Plus in place of your pet’s current food. Then over the next 7-10 days, increase the amounts of Hi Pro Plus, while decreasing amounts of his other food, until your pet has 100% Hi Pro Plus. Regular visits to your veterinarian are also recommended for your dog’s continued good health.
CAUTION: Pet food should be stored in a well-ventilated, dry area protected from rodents and insects. Pet food is perishable. Do not feed moldy or insect-infested food to animals as it may cause illness or death.
